PUPILS of Court Fields School, Wellington, competed in their houses to be crowned Miles 4 Mind winners 2023.

The fancy dress cross-country run raised more than £3,500 for mental health charity MIND in Somerset.

Court Fields headteacher Polly Matthews said: “The effort levels and standard throughout the day was nothing short of exceptional.

“Several school records smashed and amazing fancy dress outfits from students and staff.

“Most importantly, the money raised toward the mental health charity MIND was completely overwhelming, really so powerful for such a worthwhile cause in these challenging times.

“We are so very proud of you all.”

Mrs Matthews thanked the Court Fields PE team for their hard work in organising the whole-school event to make it the success it was.

The fancy dress competition was won by Harrison D as Ali G.
