ASHLEY Cain who is completing an Ultraman Challenge to help raise money and awareness for childhood cancer stopped off at an award-winning farm shop near Wellington this week (Tuesday, June 4).

He visited Rumwell Farm Shop on the A38 between Taunton and Wellington for a late afternoon meal to take on calories during his epic endurance test.

Anne Mitchell, farm shop partner, says: “We were delighted to host Ashley and the Ultraman Challenge team and to donate a meal to them when they made a pitstop here on their cycle to Princetown from Frome.

“Ashley is attempting a world-first by crossing the country three times running, cycling and kayaking to raise awareness and funds for The Azaylia Foundation, a childhood cancer charity he set-up in memory of his daughter Azaylia Diamond Cain.

“Lots of people came to meet him and parents brought along their children who gave him sweets to help keep him going. People also made donations too. We wish Ashley all the very best for his challenge and hope he raises as much money as possible.

“It’s an amazing feat and we’re all in awe of him.”
