THERE will be disruption to bus services on the Bank Holiday Monday of the Queen’s funeral. Buses of Somerset have announced a restricted bus service on that day.
A spokesperson for the company said: “Following the announcement that Monday 19th September 2022 will be a Bank Holiday, our core network will be running to a Sunday timetable.
“This is to ensure that essential journeys can still be made.”
The bus routes affected includes 21, 21A, 22, 28, Taunton Park & Ride and all buses to schools and colleges. Schools and colleges were told to close on Monday September 19 for the Queen’s funeral which will be a bank holiday.
