BRIDGET Warr (pictured) of Holcombe Rogus received a CBE for services to Social Care and the Voluntary Sector from the Princess Royal at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

Her husband, Tony Baker, son Jonathan Baker and his partner, Amy Eungblut, attended the event.

Ms Warr is chief executive of the United Kingdom Homecare Association, the professional association for organisations providing care to people in their own homes.
