Charities and community groups from Wiveliscombe will be marking the coronation of King Charles by taking part in the Big Help Out.
The Big Help Out is a voluntary initiative being put on across the country to celebrate the King's ascension to the throne. It aims to 'bring communities together through celebration and community spirit'
The scheme has been taken up in Wiveliscombe, which will see a celebration in the town centre on Bank Holiday Monday, May 8, from 10am until 3pm.
The event proposes to be an informal, spontaneous and happy occasion, which will celebrate all that is great about Wivey.
Local broadcaster 10 Radio will be in the square with its lorry for music, interviews and to dish out free cake. The community radio station will join a number of other volunteer led groups on the day to mark the historic occasion.
