Angie's Shabby Chic Makes in Lancer Court has closed this week after the proprietor took the decision to provide around the clock care for her husband.

Angie Littlewood had been restoring furniture from her premises at 2 Lancer Court since December 2016. But this week Angie took the decision to close the store so she could care for her husband who suffers from vascular dementia.

Angie will continue to take commissions, working out of her garden summerhouse, from where she will be able to care for her husband 24/7. She also hopes to be attending boots sales and crafts fairs in her van.

The business was doing well at the time of the closure, Angie said "It had just started picking up again," before she left the Lancer Court premises.
