CINEMA Obscura’s February film screening at Wiveliscombe Primary School New Hall is ‘Embrace of the Serpent’ (12).

The film, in black and white and in Spanish, Portuguese, German and Latin with English subtitles, sees an Amazonian shaman travel the river with two different German ethnologists 40 years apart.

The film is screened on Sunday (February 18) at 7.30pm – doors open at 7pm. Guest membership is £5 for this film.
