A WOMAN remains in an intensive care unit after suffering a 'medical emergency' while a man who was arrested and questioned under caution has been released on bail.

The incident took place on Monday, September 25, at an address in Aspin Road. A woman was conveyed to Musgrove Park Hospital in what police said was a "serious condition."

The man, who is in his 40's, was questioned after police said there was 'a suggestion that there had been an earlier domestic incident.'

Police inquiries remain ongoing.
