A MOTORCYCLIST and a car collided on the A38 relief road in Wellington on Saturday (April 20)

Paramedics attended the scene, near the junction with Barn Meads Road, before transporting a patient to Southmead Hospital.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.22pm on Saturday, April 20, to a road traffic collision in Wellington.

“We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and a critical care car to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Southmead Hospital.”
